Billet Dash Installation 1. Carefully place billet into opening in dash to insure proper fit 2. Set billet aside until all senders are installed and wires are routed 3. Remove stock oil pressure sender from block and replace with Cyberdyne oil pressure sender provided. Note:Sender threads must make good ground with engine block. Do not use Teflon tape or other joint sealing products when installing sender. May require bushing from local auto parts supplier. 4. Remove stock temperature sender from block and replace with Cyberdyne temperature sender provided. Note: Sender threads must make good ground with engine block. Do not use Teflon tape or other joint sealing products when installing sender. May require bushing from local auto parts supplier. 5. Attach wires provided to senders and route through a grommet in firewall and out through opening in dash 6. Attach black ground wire provided to a good engine block ground and route through grommet in firewall and out through opening in dash 7. Route signal wire and ground wire from speed sender through grommet in firewall and out through opening in dash 8. Route signal wire and ground wire from fuel sender through grommet in firewall and out through opening in dash 9. Attach a red power wire to the switched side of the ignition switch and route out through opening in dash 10. Attach a purple wire to a switched light source( ie: a dash light that dims when headlights are turned on) and route out through opening in dash 11. Attach a brown wire to negative side of coil or to tach pickup terminal on distributor and route through grommet in firewall and out through opening in dash 12. Attach wires from senders, turn signals, high beam indicator, black ground wire, red power wire and purple dimmer wire to tagged wires on billet dash using connectors provided NOTE: Gauge; "flashing"; warning should be set where desired on small gauges and fuel gauge should be calibrated prior to final installation of billet dash into dashboard. See operating instructions for details. Mechanically install billet into dash and proceed to operating instructions. |
